Honor Haase Fine Art

Hiking down to White House Ruin in Canyon de Chelly one June, we looked up Chinle Wash to this scene. A Navajo woman nearby said, with a shrug, "The bridge washes out every year." It was such a matter-of-fact and even affectionate statement, that it's remained, for me, an unforgettable part of the joy of being in that very special place imbued with the love and protection of the Navajo who cherish it and share it with visitors.
